Sakshi Maggo Biography

Sakshi Maggo is an Indian model and upcoming Bollywood actress. She is to debut Bollywood with Firoz A. Nadiadwala's Welcome Back, where she joins an ensemble cast that includes Nana Patekar, Anil Kapoor, John Abraham, Naseeruddin Shah, Shiney Ahuja, Shruti Haasan, Dimple Kapadia and Ankita. The movie is a sequel of 2007 blockbuster Welcome, which starred Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif in pivot roles. The movie is directed by Anees Bazmi and is scheduled to release in December 2014.

Sakshi was born in Delhi in 1992 and was grown up as a typical west Delhi girl. She lived in Subhash nagar and schooled at SKV. She started modelling at the age of 16 and just now, she has completed her BBA from Delhi University. Since childhood she dreamt to become an actress. She loves dancing and music too. She has done ads for brands like myntra.com, bindals etc. She has also done a music video with Javed Ali before she got shifted to Mumbai to pursue her dreams. She doesn’t have a filmy background nor did she taken acting classes. So it was not a calkwalk for Sakshi to get a film in Bollywood. Yet she believes in her luck.

Though she started her career as a model, she got bored. She also very soon realized that modelling doesn’t offer her too much scope. That’s why she reached Mumbai.
