Nikhil Nanda Biography 
Nikhil Nanda is an executive and the Managing Director of Escorts Limited, an Engineering company known for manufacturing different types of construction and agricultural machinery. This company was founded by his paternal grandfather H. P. Nanda in 1948. Nikhil Nanda is the son of industrialist Rajan Nanda, the Chairman & Managing Director of Escorts Limited and Ritu Nanda, a member of prestigious Kapoor family of Bollywood. Nikhil Nanda is married to Shweta Bachchan, daughter of Bollywood stars, Amitabh Bachchan and Jaya Bachchan. Actor Abhishek Bachchan is his brother-in-law. Nikhil is a member of Northern Regional Council of Confederation of Indian Industry, Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce & Industry, High-level strategic group constituted by All India Management Association as well as Indo American Chambers of Commerce.
Nikhil Nanda is born to industrialist Rajan Nanda and Ritu Nanda, the Chief Executive Officer of Escolife. Showman of Bollywood Raj Kapoor is his maternal grandfather and actors, Randhir Kapoor, Rishi Kapoor and Rajiv Kapoor are his uncles. Nikhil Nanda is married to journalist and television anchor, Shweta Bachchan, daughter of Amitabh Bachchan. They got married in the year 1997. Nanda did his schooling from Doon School, Dehradun. Later he went abroad to study finance and marketing. He studied business management at Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, USA majoring in these two subjects.
Nikhil Nanda has been a member of Escorts Limited’s Board of Directors since 1997. He became the Joint Managing Director of the company in the year 2007 and was appointed as Managing Director of Escorts Limited in the year 2013. He was among the five Indians selected as the Global Leaders of Tomorrow by World Economic Forum, Geneva in the year 2001.
