Nara Rohit Biography

Nara Rohit is a young actor of Telugu cinema. He is the Nephew of popular politician, Nara Chandrababu Naidu and son of Nara Ramurthy Naidu. He debut big screen in 2009 with the Telugu movie, Baanam opposite Vedhika which proved to be a critically well acclaimed movie and kicked off his career in a safe mode. But the movie was a box office failure. His second movie, Solo released in 2011 was also a moderate hit. He was paired opposite Nisha Agarwal in this movie. Thus he became a part of south Indian film industry.

Nara Rohit, also known as Rohit Nara was born in Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh. But he resides in Hyderabad at present. His schooling was also done at Hyderabad and later did intermediate at Vignan College at Vadlamudi. He did his B.Tech in Industrial Bio Technology at Anna University, Chennai and after the completion of the course, he went abroad. He did a course in acting at NYFA, New York and filmmaking course at Los Angeles. He has been a great fan of NTR since childhood. His dream role is Duryodhan of Mahabharata. He prefers the direction sensibility of regional directors like Puri Jagannadh, Rajamouli and Trivikram Srinivas. In 2012, he had a single release Sarocharu, where he got opportunity to work with Ravi Teja, Kajal Aggarwal and Richa Gangopadhyay. His successful character name of his first hit movie, Gautham was used for this movie also.

In 2013, he played lead role in Okkadine. He played the lead role opposite Nithya Menon. The movie was directed by Srinivasa Raga. But the movie was a flop at box office. He also played the role of a narrator for the movie, Swamy Ra Ra. His upcoming movies are Madrasi, Lover, Shankara, Prathinidhi and Rowdy fellow.
