Ravi Teja Biography 
Ravi Teja is an Indian film actor who concentrates in Telugu film industry. Many of his films were of great success and helped him to establish his part in the film industry in a very short period of time.
Ravi Teja was born on 26th January 1968 in Jaggampeta at East Godavari District of Andhra Pradesh. His original name is Bhupatiraju Ravishankar Raju. His father’s name is Bhupatiraju Rajgopal Raju and his mother’s name is Rajya Lakshmi Bhupatiraju. His father was a pharmacist and his mother was a housewife. He has two younger brothers named Bharath and Raghu who are also actors.
His father was continuously moving from one place to another due to the nature of his work and so Ravi had to spend most of his childhood days in North India. He completed his schooling at N.S.M. Public School and completed his B.A degree at Siddhartha Degree College at Vijayawada. He moved to Chennai in 1988 with dreams of becoming an actor. On 26th May 2002, he married Kalyani and has two children a daughter Mokshadha born on 6th June 2003 and a son Mahadhan born on 28th July 2006.
His initial moves towards the film industry were not successful and he had to struggle a lot to prove himself. He started to work as an assistant director and worked in many Telugu and Hindi films that include Prathibandh, Aaj Ka Goondaraj and Criminal.
He started to act in small roles in films like Karthavyam, Chaitanya and Aaj Ka Goonda Raj. The director Krishna Vamsi gave him opportunity to act in his film Sindhooram in 1997 and this film won National Award for Best Feature Film in Telugu and brought Ravi Teja to limelight. This marked the turning point in his acting career.
Though he continued to act in insignificant roles, in 1999, his film Nee Kosam with Maheswari was a huge hit and won him his first award and since then he started to perform in more significant roles. The film in 2001 with Puri Jagannadh titled Itlu Sravani Subramanyam established him as one of the leading actor of the industry.
Some of the films that he has acted include Anjaneyulu, Shambo Shiva Shambo, Veera, Nippu, Daruvu, Neninthe, Baladur, Don Seenu, Kick, Khadgam, Nee Kosam, Annayya, Ammayi Kosam, Tirumala Tirupathi Venkatesa, Preminche Manasu, Aaj Ka Goonda Raj, Allari Priyudu, Criminal, Ninne Pelladutha, Karthavyam, etc.
