Sahil Khan Biography

Sahil Khan is a Bollywood hero known for the successful movies, Style (2001) and its sequel, Xcuse Me (2003). He has also done a cameo in 2009 Bollywood movie, Aladdin aside Amitabh Bachchan, Ritesh Deshmukh, Jacqueline Fernandez and Sanjay Dutt. He was formerly married to Bollywood item girl and Irani model, Negar Khan in 2004. But they got separated one year later. After the success of his debut movie, Style he is also known by the names - Sahil Style Khan, Style Boy and Indian Rambo. Style was a comedy suspense thriller film directed by N. Chandra, which also featured Sharman Joshi, Riya Sen and Shilpi Mudgal.

Sahil Khan was born on 5th November 1976 in Kolkata in a business family. Khan was brought up in Delhi. His father is a Pathan and his mother is of Chinese origin. Khan reached Mumbai with the dream to become a professional body builder and represent India for such contests. He started hard training for this purpose and appeared in musical video of Stereo Nation "Nachange Saari Raat". It was followed by another music video - Oh Laila by Sanjay F. Gupta. Director N. Chandra of Tezaab fame spotted him through this video and offered him the lead role of his upcoming comedy thriller, Style. The movie also marked the onscreen debut of actor Sharman Joshi. This murder mystery appealed masses and was a box office hit.

N. Chandra planned its sequel and it was titled, Xcuse Me. He teamed up with Sharman Joshi once again and they were paired opposite Sonali Joshi and Jaya Seal. This movie too was moderate success at box office. Double cross, Ramaa: The Saviour and Yehi Hai Zindagi are other release. In 2009, he formed a film production company with Ayesha Shroff.
