Gimi George, better known as Mia George is a Malayalam film actress who debut big screen with supporting roles like Doctor Love, Oru Small Family, Navagatharkku Swagatham and Ee Adutha Kaalathu. 2012 movie, Chettayees marked her debut in lead role. Earlier she has appeared in several television serials in supporting roles. Alphonsamma and Kunjali Marakkar are among those successful Malayalam serials where she appeared in character roles. She won Kerala Miss Fitness in 2012. She is to debut Tamil film world with Jeeva Shankar’s Amara Kaaviya opposite Sathya. The movie is scheduled to get released in 2014. She is playing the role of Karthika in this movie. Salaam Kashmir and Ring Master are her upcoming Malayalam movies. A few of her early movies were credited with the name, Gimi George.

Mia was born in Pala of Kottayam district on 28 January 1992. Her native place is Plassanal of Pala. Her parents are George and Mini. She has one elder sister, now married and settled in Saudi. She did her schooling from S.H.G.H.S Bharananganam, Plus two from Saint Mary's Bharananganam and B.A. from Pala Alphonsa College. She has joined post-graduation course in English at Pala Saint Thomas College.

Mia started her acting career through television doing supporting roles. Later she debut big screen with Oru Small Family in 2010, doing big role. Again she appeared in small roles in several Malayalam movies till she won Kerala Miss Fitness in 2012. Same year, she got lead role for the movie, Chettayis. She was paired opposite Biju Menon and she received appreciation from critics. Then she acted in Mohanlal starrer,‘Red Wine’ in which she played the lead opposite Asif Ali. ‘Memories’ released in 2013 is her big release till now. She was paired opposite Prithviraj in this successful and critically well acclaimed movie. Same year, her second hit, Vishudhan opposite Kunchacko Boban was also released.
