Zulfi Syed Biography

Zulfi Syed is an Indian super model and winner of Gladrags Manhunt Contest. He hails from Bangalore and is also known as an actor. In 2008 he appeared in the second season of Bigg Boss and was the second runner-up. He made his Bollywood debut through 2002 disaster movie, Pyasa in supporting role. He played the cousin of lead actor, Aftab Shivdasani. This movie marked the debut former Miss World, Yukta Mookhey. He played lead role opposite Masumeh Makhija in 2003 movie, Chupke se. He played the role of Prince Khurram in one of the most expensive films made on Indian screen, Taj Mahal: An Eternal Love Story. This successful model has appeared in numerous music videos, television ads and endorsed many products as well.

He was born in Bangalore in 1974. He made his entry to modelling field in the early 1990’s while studying. He did a few ramp walks in the year 1992. He has appeared in countless music videos of 1990s. 'Chahat Desh Se Anewale', 'Buleyaa', Anu Malik’s 'Dhuwa Dhuwa Ho Raha Hai Sama' and 'Tere Khayalon Mein' are among his popular videos. He is better known as Zulfi in modelling field. He won Gladrags Manhunt contest in 1996, which zoomed his popularity. His good features made him a hot favourite for ramp walks by all leading fashion designers of the country.

He prefers acting to modelling as he feel acting is more challenging. He is willing to accept any type of roles even if negative. He studied hotel management and wants to set up hotel business in Bangalore. Among his television ads, his ad where girls make lipstick marks all over his body was noticed most. He is married to Sheena Varma.
