Rewati Chetri Biography

Rewati Chetri is an Indian model and beauty pageant winner. She is also an actress who appears in movies and TV shows. She was crowned Miss Asia at the World Miss University 2016 pageant, held in Beijing, and also won the title of Miss International India 2016. She was one of the finalists of Femina Miss India 2015, where she finished one among top 10. She was also a finalist of Miss Earth India 2016. She got the subtitles - Miss Popular and Miss Multimedia at Femina Miss India 2015. She made her television debut in 2017 with an episodic of Pyaar Tune Kya Kiya, TV show.

Rewati Chetri was born on 4 July 1993 in Haflong, Dima Hasao district, Assam. Her father Baburam Chetri is an ASEB employee and mother Bina Chetri, a homemaker. She completed her graduation from Lumding College, Lumding, and is currently pursuing her LLB studies. She started off her career as a model, and participated in Femina Miss India 2015, where she finished one among top 10. She was also a finalist of Miss Earth India 2016. She represented India at Miss International 2016 pageant. Same year she appeared in a music video, Tumi Mur, music was composed by "Bulbul and Rosty".

As a film actress she first appeared in Gangs Of North East, a romantic Action thriller film directed by Rupak Gogoi under the banner of AM Television and TuneIn Infotainment. She played the female lead and shared screen space with Fairypriya Ahmed, Vivek Bora, and Udayan Duwara for the film. The movie was released in three languages – Assamese, Hindi and Khasi. She signed her second film, Summer Love (2019) which was released in Nepali language.
