Vamsi Krishna Biography

Vamsi Krishna is a south Indian film actor who regularly appears in Telugu and Tamil language movies. He made his debut in Gharshana (2004) and later played notable roles as a villain in the movies, Thadaiyara Thaakka, Ivan Veramathiri and Naiyaandi. Magizh Thirumeni's Thadaiyara Thaakka (2012) is his most noticed work till now, for which he received critics’ appreciation. Darling, Nagavalli and Nenu Naa Rakshasi are noted Telugu works in which he played supporting role.

Once he met director Gautham Menon onboard a flight from London to India in 2003. This single meeting changed Vamsi’s life forever. He happened to seat next to Gautham and had a small chat on movies and film world. Suddenly Gautham asked Vamsi if he would prefer to become a part of his upcoming movie. This unexpected film offer surprised Vamsi a lot and he quickly accepted it. Gautham was planning to remake his own successful Tamil movie – Kakka Kakka to Telugu titled, Gharsana. He played the role of actor Venkatesh's friend, a cop in the film.

From a cop, he has turned into a baddie in reel life and he is known for portraying ‘bad boy’ roles in film industry. Shiva Gnanam's Deal and Saravanan's Ivan Vera Maathiriare his noted roles in villain roles. He says, he has been a kind of bad boy during his college days and for the same reason, he handles with ease such types of roles. He is attracted towards negative roles as they grab quick attention and hence good-boy roles do not interest him. This Tollywood actor has an impressive line-up in Tamil right now. Director Sargunam’s Naiyyandi, Saravanan’s Ivan Vera Mathiri and A R Murugadoss’s Maan Karate are his upcoming movies.
