Venkatesh Biography
Venkatesh also known as Daggubati Venkatesh is an Indian film actor who appears in Telugu films. He is one of the notable actors of the industry and has won many awards and honors for his performance.
Venkatesh was born on 13th December 1960 in Chennai in Tamil Nadu. His father is the popular film producer and ex-member of parliament, Dr. Ramanaidu Daggubati and his mother’s name is Rajeshwari. He has one elder brother Suresh Babu Daggubati and one younger sister named Lakshmi. His brother is the owner of the company Suresh Productions.
He completed his schooling at Don Bosco in Egmore in Chennai and got his bachelor’s degree in commerce from Loyola College in Chennai. He then obtained his MBA degree from the Monterey Institute of International Studies at USA. His original plan was to become a film producer. But contrary to his expectations, he started to act in Telugu films. He married Neeraja and has one son named Arjun Ramnath and three daughters named Aashritha, Hayavahini and Bhavana.
He started his career in film industry as a child artist when he was just two years old. His first film as a child artist was Swarnakamalam directed by Kasinadhuni Viswanath. His first film in the adult role was Kaliyuga Pandavulu in 1986. He got a big break through the film Bobbili Raja. Then he gave many super duper hits like Chanti and Kshana Kshanam which established him as a successful actor in Telugu film industry that he came to be called as Victory Venkatesh.
He acted alongside Kamal Hassan in the film Eenaadu in 2009. Many Telugu film stars like Rana Dagubati, Nagarjuna Rao Akkineni, Naga Chaitanya Akkineni, Sumanth Yarlagadda, Sushanth, Amala Akkineni and Akhil Akkineni are his relatives. He is the brand ambassador of Andhra Pradesh for the company Manappuram General Finance and Leasing Ltd.
Some of the films that he has acted include Ganesh, Premante Idera, Raja, Jayam Manade Raa, Devi Putrudu, Prematho Raa, Nuvvu Naaku Nachav, Vasu, Gemini, Vasantham, Seenu, Adavari Matalaku Ardhalu Verule, Sankranthi, Swarna Kamalam, Varasudochhadu, Brahma Rudrulu, Ajeyudu, Pellichesukundam, etc.
