Anshuman Ajai Singh Biography 
Anshuman Ajai Singh is a Bollywood actor and playback singer. His role as Jimmy in Agent Vinod is one of his noted performances. It was his Bollywood debut as well. He is the son of Ajai R. Singh - psychiatrist, author, and editor of Mens Sana Monographs and Shakuntala Singh - educational administrator, professor of philosophy and deputy editor of the Mens Sana Monographs. Anshuman has been a professional doctor with as MBBS degree from Russia, before entering movies – his real passion.
He was born in Mumbai Suburb area, Mulund on October 18, 1983 as the son of Ajai R. Singh and Shakuntala Singh. He has one sister and one brother. His family originally hails from Jaisalmer. But his grandfather moved to Mumbai during his youth days to pursue a career in Bollywood, though couldn’t made it. Anshuman’s childhood days were spent at Mulund and was a brilliant student during his schooldays. He has been a professional badminton player who started playing at the age of 6 and has participated in several state and national level tournaments winning many prizes. He also learnt Hindustani classical music during his childhood days. He took MBBS from St. Petersburg, Russia in 2002 and started his practice as a physician. He practised for 6 years and left the job to pursue his dreams as an actor.
He started modelling while studying medicine at St. Petersburg. He also performed as a singer during this period. Once returned back to India, he attended an acting course in Mumbai for 5 months. Apart from it, he focused on his modelling career as well and got his big break in the form of Agent Vinod, where he got opportunity to work with real-life pair – Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor. He played negative role of Jimmy in this movie, who talks less, but given the task to transport a bomb to India and successfully complete the operation.
