Shruti Pathak Biography 
Shruti Pathak is a successful playback singer of Bollywood at present. Her most popular song is ‘Mar jaawa’ of Fashion for which she won a Filmfare nomination and Star screen awards nomination for best playback singer female. This particular song was her big break to Bollywood. Her second most popular songs belong to Anjana Anjani. Aas Paas Hai Khuda and Tujhe bula diya are those melodious songs, she sang alone with Rahat Fateh Ali Khan. Her other popular songs include – Paayaliya of Dev D, Resiya of Kurbaan, Jee le of Luck, Shubhaarambh of Kai pochee, Chhayee Hai Tanhayee of Love Breakups Zindagi, Criminal of Ra.One (alongside Akon and Vishal Dadlani) and Buddhi Do Bhagwaan of Players. She is a lyricist of Bollywood also.
Shruti Pathak was born on October 27, 1982. She entered singing through album songs. Her most popular song was remixed version of ‘Leke pehla pehla pyar’ for the Baby Doll series in 2004. She entered playback singing by Sudu Sude and Guchchi Guchchi of Telugu movie, Bujjigaadu: Made in Chennai released in 2008. Its music was given by Sandeep Chowta who has delivered many musical chartbusters for Ram Gopal Varma’s Hindi movies. Same year, Awara dil of Money hai to honey hai and mar jawaan of Fashion were released. Her song was pictured on fashion models on ramp and became immensely popular as well. It gave her Filmfare nominations also.
In 2009, the song Paayaliya of Dev D was recorded. This movie won National award for best music that year (Amit Trivedi). The song sung by Shruti was written by herself, debuting career as a film lyricist as well. In 2013 she wrote one more song "Shubhaaramabh" for Amit Trivedi in Kai Po Che. Among all her songs, Aas paas hai khuda of Anjana Anjani needs special mention. She sang this melodious duet with Rahet Fateh Ali Khan. Her other songs are Roshni of Admission Open and Buddhi Do Bhagwaan of Players.
