Saandip Biography

Saandip is an Indian singer and actor who works in both Bollywood and south Indian movies. As an actor, he has appeared in Telugu movies, "Premayanamaha" and "Inkosaari". He was the first South Indian to participate in ZEE SAREGAMAPA. He participated in the singing hunt show in the year 2003 when the popular program was hosted by noted singer Shaan. Now he is a successful singer of Telugu movies. “Nalo nenu” – Aunu Valliddaru Ishtapaddaru, “Manava Manava” – Anji, “Nagundelo neevundipova” – Nuvvu Nenu, “America America” - Premayanamaha and “Dola re dola” – Arundhati are his noted songs. Up to date, he has sung for more than 90 movies and sung for more than 600 Private Albums which include a few Devotional albums as well.

Saandip was born as the youngest son of B. Swami Nath and B. Janaki Nath in Vijayawada on August 5, 1978. He spent his childhood in Wardha, Sholapur and Bhopal and his schooling was done at Kendriya Vidyalaya in different schools. He completed B.E in Telecommunications from Bangalore Institute of Technology in the year 2000. Music was his hobby and passion from his childhood days. He immediately got recognition through a Famous Telugu show “Padutha Teeyaga” in 1998.

Saandip debut playback singing in the year 2000 with Telugu movie, Chitram where he sang the song, “Kukka kavali”. The movie’s success gave him more opportunities in Telugu cinema. He got opportunity to work with top directors of the industry like R.P.Patnaik, Devisriprasad, Madhavpeddi Suresh, Vasu Rao, Yuvan Shankar raja, Ravi Pawar, M.M.Keeravani, Chakri, Koti and Manisharma. As an actor, his debut movie is “Premayanamaha- love is god”. Both “Premayanamaha- love is god” and “Inkosaari” gave him critical appreciation as an actor. He is a wonderful stage performer also and has done more than 700 shows till now.
