Ravi Behl Biography

Ravi Behl is the star anchor of Sony Television who shot to fame anchoring the dance competition of children, Woogie Boogie for more than a decade. Ravi anchors this popular dance show aside Javed Jaffrey. He debut big screen opposite Urmila in 1991 with the movie, Narasimha which happened to be the debut movie of Urmila Matondkar too. The debut movie was a box office hit. The popular duet, Jao tum chahe jahan was pictured on these two. Later he appeared in supporting roles in movies like Boyfriend, Dalal, Ghulam-E-Musthafa and Agnisakhi and finally got settled with small screen. Ravi is still a bachelor. Ravi’s father was a film producer.

From childhood he was very much interested in dancing and acting. Though not became successful as an actor, he became a star anchor and producer. He is the co-producer and host of Boogie Woogie. Through his witty dialogues and the common chemistry he shared with co-anchor Javed Jaffrey, he became one of the star anchors of Indian television. Ravi has released an album called Ladkiyan and also hosted a song based show called Hai Na Bolo Bolo on Star Plus. 'Hai Na Bolo Bolo' marked his entry to small screen as an anchor, though he was not at all a trained singer.

Ravi is still a bachelor. Though he was in a serious relationship, it never resulted in marriage due to differences in opinion. After the breakoff, he was left disheartened. He was already a part of success movies, Narsimha, Agnisakshi and Dalaal and he took Woogie Boogie as part-time job. To his big surprise it became a huge hit and earned him money and fame as well.
