Abhinaya Krishna Biography

Abhinaya Krishna is a south Indian film and television actor associated with Telugu entertainment industry. He marked his acting debut with 2002 Telugu film, Eeswar, where he shared screen space with Prabhas. Later he worked as Assistant Director in Prabhas’ biggest movie of his career, Baahubali 2: The Conclusion. Abhinaya Krishna is also active in television industry. He is popularly known as Adhire Abhi in Jabardasth, the comedy show aired on ETV. The show shot him to instant fame. He also worked as creative director for TV show, Meelo Evaru Koteeswarudu.

 

His birth name is Hari Krishna. He hails from Kamareddy, Telangana. He started his professional career playing supporting roles on Telugu big screen, and later moved towards mini screen, which earned him success and fame. He gained recognition as a comedian through the hit show, Jabardasth, and he is recognized through this single show, telecasted on ETV. He plans to make his directorial debut very soon. He earned fame as an actor, comedian and imitation dancer in front of the camera. Now he wants to explore his skills behind the camera. He is also known for his anchoring skills. Yet direction has always been his “passion”.

 

Abhi made his foray into films with the 2002 Telugu movie Eeswar alongside Prabhas of Baahubali fame. He was studying MSc Computer Science, when he got his first break. He is a software engineer-turned-actor. He has directed a thought-provoking short film titled ‘7 Minutes’ five years back. He also has TV game show Meelo Evaru Koteeswarudu to his credit, in the role of a creative director. The show is a Telugu version of popular show, Who Wants to Be a Millionaire? Now he plans to make it big in entertainment industry as a director.
