Chandan Prabhakar Biography 
Chandan Prabhakar is a stand-up Comedian and actor. He appears in Punjabi films, apart from stage performances and live shows. He was the first runner up in The Great Indian Laughter Challenge 3. For Hindi television viewers he is familiar through his appearances in the popular comedy & celebrity show, Comedy Nights with Kapil On Colors. He played different character roles for the show, mostly domestic help roles with comic touch and also shared stage space with several Indian celebrities as a part of the show. Among all the characters he played for the show, his role as tea-stall owner Chandu is most popular.
He made his screen debut with 2010 Hindi film, Bhavnao Ko Samjho which went unnoticed. He gained recognition through the comedy shows of Sony TV and Colors TV, where he shared screen space with Kapil Sharma in 4 shows since 2013. He was first seen in Comedy Nights with Kapil during 2013-2016, where he played the character of Raju and Chadda uncle. The show was aired on Colors TV. Later he appeared in similar kind of shows, all hosted by Kapil Sharma for Sony TV. The Kapil Sharma Show in 2016 – 2017, Family Time With Kapil Sharma in 2018 and The Kapil Sharma Show Season 2 in 2018-19.
Chandan Prabhakar hails from Amritsar, Punjab. In real life he is a quite person. Interestingly he is an actor and not a comedian, but who established as a standup comedian. Kapil Sharma and Chandan were childhood friends. He is popular for his sense of humour and screen presence, cheering audiences. Jhanda Singh, Harpal Singh, Raju and Chandu are some of his popular characters. He has also produced many Punjabi films.
