Nowhera Shaik Biography

Nowhera Shaik is a business personality and entrepreneur best known as the founder and CEO of the Heera Group, with headquarters at Hyderabad. The group consists of 20 companies. Shaik is also known as a politician. Nowhera Shaik is also a philanthropist, an educationist, who has also set up numerous educational institutions across the country. She is a recipient of numerous awards including Bharat Gaurav Award, 2014, Rajiv Gandhi Shiromani Award, The Mumbai Ratan Award, 2013 etc mostly for her service towards the nation as an educationist. She is the founder and President of All India Mahila Empowerment Party since 2017, and is associated with many organizations related to social service, serving in many distinguished positions.

 

Shaik was born on 21 September 1973 in Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh. She belongs to a business family based in Tirupati. Nowhera spent her early years of education in a madrasa, and later took Doctorate of Philosophy from the Open International University, Colombo in Business Management in 2013. As an educationalist, her service began at the age of 19 when she started giving lessons in religion and scriptures for some girls. In 1998, Shaik started an Islamic school for girls in the name of ‘Madrasa Niswan’ at Tirupati for unprivileged girls.

 

Shaik set up her gold trading business in 1998, and within one decade the group established as ‘Heera Group’ with diversified businesses such as Gold, Trading, Textile, Jewelry, Mineral Water, Granite, Tours and Travels, Real Estate, Electronics, E-commerce etc. A consortium of twenty companies Heera group is a name well established in India, gulf countries, China and Canada. The logo of the company is ‘In the interest of All Mankind’.
