Mrinalini Sharma Biography 
Mrinalini Sharma is a Bollywood actress and model most known for playing lead role in Bollywood hit – Aawarapan. The song, Mahiya pictured on her was a chartbuster and made her a youth icon. Before that Lucky Ali’s ‘Gori Teri Aankhe Kahe’ (2000) brought her instant recognition. An item song in 2005 Prakash Jha's movie, Apaharan was her first onscreen appearance. After that she got more Bollywood opportunities. She has also done ad campaigns for ICICI Prudential, Samsung, Maruti, Sunsilk, Anchor switches, Pears, Motorola, Graviera Suitings, Tiger Balm etc.
She was born on 27th September 1982 in New Delhi. Her schooling and graduation were completed at Delhi itself. She graduated in English literature. She started modelling at Delhi and shot for reputed designers like Suneet Verma, J. J. Valaya and Ravi Bajaj while at college. She moved to Mumbai at the age of 21. When she reached Mumbai, she was all alone. Soon after the instant success of Lucky Ali’s ‘Gori Teri Aankhe Kahe’, she got opportunity to appear in another popular music video - ‘Meri Neend’ by Band of Boys. After that she decided to go back to Delhi and returned one and half year later.
“Apaharan” happened by chance and she was offered a cameo role by Prakash Jha. However her scenes were cut because of the length of the movie. Only the item song left. 'Awarapan' with Emraan Hashmi and Shriya Saran was her real career breakthrough. Mrinalini was later seen in the movies like 'Hide & Seek', 'Showbiz', 'Soundtrack' and 'Jodi Breakers'. Horror flick '3G' co-starring Sonal Chauhan and Neil Nitin Mukesh is her latest Bollywood appearance.
