Harry Sachdeva Biography 
Harpreet Sachdeva, best known as Harry Sachdeva is a filmmaker and entrepreneur. He produces and directs movies in English, Hindi and Marathi languages and also owns a film production house, "Udan Choo". He is a very successful businessman and entrepreneur as well, who owns a chain of hotels and he is also known as a social activist. Currently he serves as the MD of Magical Dreams Productions Pvt. Ltd. and also runs Gr8 Future Brands, an International Food and Beverage company. He produced national award winning Hindi film, 31st October, based on a true story which focused on the aftermath of Indira Gandhi's assassination on 31st October, 1984.
Harry Sachdeva was born on 17 November 1977 to a Sikh family in Delhi. During his early childhood days, Indira Gandhi’s assassination occurred which resulted in the killings of thousands of innocent Sikhs, and he grew up hearing and witnessing many of such real life stories. Years later his home production financed a film based on this subject and true events associated with it. He was always inclined towards writing since his childhood days. During his teens and early adolescence, he was fascinated by movies, photography and travelling. He also learnt several foreign languages.
He started his own business chains, and later film production house. 31st October in 2016 marked his debut as a film producer. His team met the widows of the 1984 riots and did a lot of back end work before they worked on a controversial subject, which was never shown on big screen before. The film has been screened at various international film festivals like Vancouver International Film Festival and Toronto Film Festival and many more, and received overwhelming response as well. He is now planning to finance English, French and Marathi language movies as well. A few movies are in pre-production stage.
