Gaurav Khanna Biography

Gaurav Khanna is a popular television actor and television host who has played lead roles in numerous daily soaps of Indian television since mid-2000s. Kumkum, Love Ne Mila Di Jodi and Yeh Pyar Na Hoga Kam are his popular roles. As a protagonist, he played lead role in Meri Doli Tere Angana, Byaah Hamari Bahoo Ka, Santaan, Jeevan saathi, Love Ne Milla Di Jodi, Yeh Pyar Na Hoga Kam and Dil Se Diya Vachan. He has also played recurring roles in a couple of television series during his early career – Bhabhi and Kumkum.

He is one of the top rated and most experienced male artists of Indian television industry who has worked with almost all leading artists of small town. He was also the host of Nachle Ve with Saroj Khan's 3rd season and has made guest appearance in a few reality shows. Meri Doli Tere Angana in 2007 was his first role as male lead. He played male lead opposite Yami Gautam in Yeh Pyar Na Hoga Kam, Vandana Joshi in Dil se diya Vachan, Simran Kaur in Love Ne Milla Di Jodi and Shrenu Parikh in Byaah Hamari Bahoo Ka.

He was born in Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh to a business family. He reached Mumbai to do his MBA course and entered entertainment industry. Horse riding is his passion. Now this actor has started doing painting and photography.  As a model, he started his career through television commercials. STAR One's One Night Stand was his first television role and he played a bit role of Sunny. It was followed by notable roles in Siddhant, Bhabhi and Kumkum.  Meri Doli Tere Angana in 2007 marked his new beginning as a lead actor. Very soon he got numerous roles to play male lead and became one of the most successful small screen heroes during late 2000’s.
