Shrenu Parikh is a successful television actress who currently portrays the lead role of Astha Shlok Agnihotri in "Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon?...Ek Baar Phir". She came to limelight through the television series, Havan. Gulal, aired during the period 2010-2011 marked her small screen debut and she has also acted in Byaah Hamari Bahoo Ka in 2012. She hails from Vadodara, Gujarat. She is a successful model too and has won many beauty pageants including Miss University title in 2007 and Miss Vadodara title in 2008. This petite beauty has made her mark on small screen with her signature smile. She prefers minimalistic and contemporary wardrobe.

She hails from a traditional and conservative Gujarati family in Vadodara. She holds a B. Pharm degree. Since school days, she participated in school plays. She is a singer too. She used to mimic all popular characters of television series, ‘Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi’ as a kid. She is a successful model too, who has won several beauty pageants. She did a few endorsements in hometown Vadodara and also did a less significant role in Gulaal before grabbing the title role in "Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon?...Ek Baar Phir", the sequel of the series.

She played title role in 2012 television series, Byaah Hamari Bahoo Ka. Gaurav Khanna starred opposite her. But later the show was taken off for lower TRP ratings. As she belongs to a traditional Gujarati family, she is not at all comfortable to do intimate scenes for the shows. She even declined one film offer as it contained some explicit scenes.
