Parvati Hill is noted for its scenic beauty and on the top of the hill is located the temple which is one of the ancient heritage structures of Pune. This temple was built during the time of Nanasaheb Peshwa in 1749 and you have to climb 103 steps to reach this temple. The main temple was called Devdeveshwara and was made of black stone. Together with this temple there are totally 5 temples namely Kartikeya Temple, Vishnu Temple, Vitthal Temple and Ramana Temple. Apart from them there is a Peshwa Museum and Samadhi of Nanasaheb Peshwa. The Parvati water supply tank located here supply water to Pune city.
