Kesari Wada is a monument built by Gaikwads and was inhabited by Sayajirao Gaikwad, the prince of Baroda. It was from here that Lokmanya Bal Gangadhar Tilak was running his newspapers named Kesari and Maratha. The remnants of the products he used is still kept in this building including his writing desk, letters, documents and this also contains the first Indian National Flag hoisted by Madame Cama. Many people visit this place during Ganapati festival.
