Honey and Bee Museum was launched by the NGO Keystone Foundation. This has two parts, honey and bee keeping portion and the green shop. You can get information about the honey harvest by the traditional tribal people.

Honey is collected by the two tribal groups of Ooty called Kurumbas and Irulas. Almost half of these people are involved in honey collection.
