Ettumanoor Mahadeva Temple is one of the oldest Shiva temples near Kumarakom. The sage Vyasa and Pandavas were believed to have offered their prayers at this place. The name manor means the land of deer. This was temple was constructed in the year 1542 AD and the walls and the main entrance were decorated with Mural paintings. Arattu festival is conducted here every February or March on the Thiruvathira Day.
