Patthar Ghat is the bathing place built of red stone on the banks of the River Ganges in Bithoor. IT was built by the minister of Awadh state, Tikait Rai and stands as a fine example of ancient architecture of India. There is a Shiva temple located on the Ghat that is visited by devotees and pilgrims. Shivalinga made of philosopher’s stone is the unique aspect of this Shiva temple.
