Nawabganj Bird Sanctuary provides protection for more than 250 species of migratory birds. It also has a deer garden adjacent to it where you can find the spotted deer and barking deer. Some of the birds found in this sanctuary are spotwill, sarus crane, peacock, white ibis, whistling teal, open bill stork, white necked stork, bronze winged jacana, lapwing, pigeon, king crow, Indian roller and bee eater. Many reptiles are found here namely cobra, viper, krait, water snakes and rat snake.
