Jajmau is a small town located in the banks of River Ganges and the place is popular for its leather industries and the archaeological excavations conducted here. The place is famous for the shrine of Hazrat Makhdoom Shah Ala where the stone tablets with inscriptions carved on it are found. Many baked terracotta inscriptions are also seen here.
