Agricultural Gardens is a botanical garden where various species of flora are grown. It is beautifully decorated with shady bowers and colorful flowers. Some of the endangered species of plants are maintained here. It was in the Canteen Building of the Harcourt Butler Technological Institute located at the Agricultural Gardens that the first seed for the Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur was sown in December 1959.
