VJ Andy Biography

Anand Kumar, popularly known as VJ Andy is a successful viedo jockey of Channel V. He originally belongs to Slough, Berkshire, UK. But now he resides in Mumbai, busy with hosting television shows on Channel V. The reality show on dating, ‘Dare 2 Date’ and Get Gorgeous 3 are hosted by him. Most recently in 2013, he contested in the popular and controversial reality show on TV Colors – Bigg Boss 7th edition, where he finished 5th. He was called the entertainer of the group. Currently he hosts the reality show, India's Got Talent. He co-hosted ‘What’s With Indian Women’ in Fox Traveller India, alongside comedian Sanjay Rajoura.

He was born in a Punjabi family residing in UK. He is a firm believer in the philosophy of live and let live. He believes that VJ is the platform through which he can connect with youngsters of today. His personal interests include Choreography, Dancing, Theater and Music. He has actively participated in several national and international plays. He is highly fashionable with his unique style statement.

He spent 101 days locked inside the Bigg Boss house. He was named as entertainer in the Bigg Boss House as he used to entertain his friends using his tricks and entertainment tactics. Though he was able to enter the Finale Week of Bigg Boss, he could not enter the Grand Finale Day of Bigg Boss 7. His exit from the house somehow shocked his fans. He got out in a mid-week elimination, just 3 days before the Grand Finale. Later he told negative about his housemate, Gauhar Khan that she is doing manipulation.
