Vinoth Kishan Biography

Vinoth Kishan is a south Indian film actor known for playing supporting and negative roles. He started his film career as a child artist and appears in Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam language films. He marked his film debut as a child artist in Bala's Nandha (2001), and earned popularity playing villain in Naan Mahaan Alla and Vidiyum Munn. He predominantly works in Tamil cinema, and some of his recent films include - 6 Athiyayam, Yaazh, Nenjil Thunivirundhal etc. Papparapaam and Andhagaaram are his upcoming films. He plays lead role in Papparapaam.

 

Vinoth Kishan was born on 28 July 1989. He marked his acting debut in the year 2001 as a child artist through the film, Nandha directed by Bala. He played the younger version of Suriya's character onscreen. He continued playing similar kind of less-significant roles onscreen for a while, and was seen in Samasthanam (2002) and Sena (2003). In 2007 he bagged his first noted role through A. L. Vijay's Kireedam (2007), portraying the younger brother of Ajith Kumar, before he began to play negative roles onscreen.

 

Suseenthiran's Naan Mahaan Alla (2010) gave him the much sought breakthrough in films, where he played villain’s role in the movie. Very soon he bagged similar meaty negative roles and he carried them with ease. Vidiyum Munn (2013) is yet another similar and impressive negative role of Vinoth. He also acted in one Malayalam film – Kanakompathu and one Telugu film – Genius each. But he is fully concentrated on to Tamil movies. The actor is to play two challenging roles onscreen – Papparapaam, where he portrays a man who wakes up at his funeral and Andhagaaram in which he plays a blind man.
