Vimal Biography 
Vimal is an Indian film actor who concentrates in Tamil film industry. Initially he started to perform cameo roles and supporting roles in the films and later appeared in lead roles in many low budget films.
Vimal was born in Pannankombu village near Manapparai in Trichy in Tamil Nadu. His father’s name is Narasimhan and his mother’s name is Ramani. He dropped his studies in the middle and came to Chennai and started to learn dancing. He joined the theatre group Koothu-P-Pattarai.
His debut film was Gilli in 2004 in which he appeared in uncredited role. Followed by this, he performed in insignificant role in many films like Kireedam, Kuruvi and Pandhayam and got some exposure through the film Pasanga in 2008. This was a successful film and his film Kalavani in 2010 was a super hit establishing him as one of the good actors.
Some of the films that he has acted include Kalavani, Thoonga Nagaram, Eththan, Vaagai Sooda Vaa, Marina, Kalakalappu, Ishtam, Sillunu Oru Sandhippu, Rendavathu Padam, Moondru Per Moondru Kaadhal, etc. He also did some modeling including the advertisement for Chennai Super Kings as a batsman.
He fell in love with his relative Akshaya Priyadarshini who was a medical college student. Akshaya’s parents did not approve their love as they could not see an actor as their son-in-law. So they eloped and got married at Swamimalai Murugan Temple in Kumbakonam on 12th December 2010. They have a son born on 21st August 2011.
