Vikram Singh Biography

Vikram Singh is a Bollywood actor popularly known as Locovicky among his fans. He started his acting career with Mumbai Godfather (2005), directed by Deepak Balraj Vij. Later he appeared in movies like Souten (the other woman), Aatma (2006), Trump Card, Kuch kariye and Ya Rab. In 2012, he made his Telugu debut through Rebel, directed by Raghava Lawrence and he played a negative character and paired with Tollywood actress Tamannah. His next movie, ‘1’ is set to release. Manadhi Maayam Seidhai (MMS) is a Telugu-Tamil bilingual movie that’s scheduled to get released in 2014. His upcoming Bollywood project is Heropanti directed by Sabbir Khan.

 

Vikram was born in Jamshedpur, Jharkhand in a Punjabi family. Manjeet K Singh and Rita Kumar are his parents. His father is a successful businessman and settled in Mumbai. After a short stint in family business, Vikram decided to join entertainment industry as an actor. He completed his schooling in Yadvindra Public School at Chandigarh and did his Bachelor of Arts degree from Delhi University. He started his acting career with the movie called Mumbai Godfather (2005). Fishing, sky diving, avid horse rider, sports car drifting, Harleys and adventure sports are his personal hobbies. He also prefers to do stunts for his action movies, rather than relying on dups.

 

His brother Uday. J. Singh is an affluent business man and entrepreneur who lives in India, Dubai and New Zealand. He is in manufacturing food business. Both his sisters are married and settled abroad. In 2010, he got his first movie as a lead actor. Trump card was directed by Arshad Khan. This thriller movie also included Vishwajeet Pradhan, Haidar Ali and Urvashi Chaudhary.
