Vaishnavi Dhanraj Biography 
Vaishnavi Dhanraj is a successful television actress popularly known for the portrayal of Nirbhaya in Satyagraha on Aaj Tak. She also played the role of Sub-Inspector Tasha in Sony T.V's popular investigation show, CID which made her popular. Both these roles gave her critics’ appreciation as well. She is a blogger too and has written for ‘The Times of India’ in 2011. In 2012, she got married to popular model and television actor, Nitin Sahrawat after a year of courtship. They met for the first time on the sets of Nitin's show Kitani Mohabbat Hai Season 2.
Vaishnavi Dhanraj Sahrawat was born on August 25, 1988 in Nagpur as Vaishnavi Bhoyar. She completed graduation from Shivaji Science College and then got shifted to Kalyan with her family in 2008. For pursuing a career in the entertainment industry, she got full support from her family. She made her acting debut in the year 2008 through a cameo role in Ekta Kapoor's popular series, Kasautii Zindagii Kay. This brief role earned her wide appreciation and very soon she was offered the parallel lead for the show, Karam Apnaa Apnaa by the same production house. Very soon she replaced her surname with her father's first name for numerological reasons.
She joined CID team in the year 2009. She received appreciation and fame in the popular role of an inspector and soon bagged the title role in ‘Na Aana Iss Desh Laado’ in 2010, based on the issue of Female foeticide in India. But two years later she left the show as she was dissatisfied by the role. Parvarrish – Kuchh Khattee Kuchh Meethi, Madhubala - Ek Ishq Ek Junoon and Mahabharat are other popular roles played by Vaishnavi.
