Vaibhav Tatwawaadi Biography

Vaibhav Tatwawaadi is a noted actor associated with Bollywood and Marathi cinema, portraying lead and supporting roles. Lipstick Under My Burkha is his most recent release, where he played the memorable role of Aahana Kumra’s fiancée. The movie which was dragged to several controversies over the bold subject chosen, was opened to positive reviews from critics and was a box office hit of year 2017. He was seen in the supporting role of Chimaji Appa in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Bajirao Mastani in 2015. He was earlier seen in erotic romantic film, Hunterrr and Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi is his upcoming Bollywood release.

Vaibhav was born in Nagpur, Maharashtra in the year 1988. His mother Sheela is a home maker and his father Dr. Vivek Tatwawaadi heads a local Engineering College. He has a younger brother too. His schooling was completed at his hometown, and he later moved to Pune to pursue his engineering studies. Since school days he got attracted to theatre, did a few plays, and during his college days became fully active in this field. He turned popular in the local theatre circuit, and soon after completion of his B Tech course in 2010, he moved to Mumbai the following year.

Vaibhav dreamt to become a film actor, and started off with mini screen roles. He made his Marathi film debut in 2014 with Santosh Manjrekar's Surajya, playing lead role and the movie fared well at box office. His role earned him critical acclaim too. Coffee Ani Barach Kahi was his second release, and the movie met with critical and commercial fame. The adult comedy Hunterrr marked his Bollywood debut, and after he continued his acting both in Marathi and Hindi films. He played his first action packed role in Mr. and Mrs. Sadachari, which met with commercial failure.
