Tridha Choudhury Biography

Tridha Choudhury is a popular TV actress associated with Hindi soaps. She has also acted in a few Telugu and Bengali movies. She made her film debut through 2013 Bengali film - Mishawr Rawhoshyo and Telugu debut through Surya vs Surya in 2015. After a few flicks, she made her television debut in 2016 with the new show on Star Plus – Dehleez, where she plays the title role of Swadheenta Ramakrishnan. The show made her a popular actress on small screen. Jodi Love Dile Na Prane and Khaad are her other Bengali releases.

Tridha is a native of Kolkata and she studied at M. P. Birla Foundation Higher Secondary School, followed by graduation in Micro Biology from Scottish Church College. Started off her career with modelling she won the title, Clean & Clear Calcutta Times Fresh Face 2011, while doing her graduation from Scottish Church College. After coming to the spotlight in 2011, she has been fully active with entertainment industry. After trying luck with Bengali movies, she also made her south Indian debut.  

She started her Tollywood journey with ‘Mishor Rohoshyo’, a film by Srijit Mukherji. Srijit happened to be one of the judges of Clean & Clear Calcutta Times Fresh Face 2011. Swastika Mukherjee and Abhishek Dutta were the other judges of the show. ‘Jodi Love Dile Na Prane’ was her second release, followed by ‘Khaad’ of Kaushik Ganguly. She also bagged a role in a new TV show, on a popular entertainment channel, opposite Gurmeet Chowdhary. She was offered the role of a Tamil Brahmin for the show. She also signed a Telugu-Tamil bilingual project – Ore Nyabagam, opposite Adith Ishwanaran in 2013. But the movie is delayed now.
