Thakur Anoop Singh Biography

Thakur Anoop Singh is an Indian actor and body builder. He works in movies and television shows as actor too. As a film actor, he is quite prominent in south Indian action masala flicks mostly playing grey shaded rows. He was most recently seen in Suriya starrer Tamil flick, Si3. Some of his noted Telugu films include – Rogue, Naa Peru Surya, Naa Illu India, Achari America Yatra and Winner. He was also seen in Bollywood action flick, Commando 2 in 2017. As a television actor, he earned popularity playing King Dhritarashtra in 2013 Mythological series on Star Plus, Mahabharata, apart from a few more roles.

Thakur Anoop Singh was born on 23 March 1989 in Mumbai, Maharashtra. He dabbled between different kinds of roles entirely different from one another. He is a pilot by profession and a model too. He is a singer, actor and body builder too, who participates in fitness competitions. He acts in both movies and television serials. In 2015 he won gold in a bodybuilding contest in Bangkok, Thailand. Same year he also won a bronze at 49th Asian Championship – Uzbekisthan and silver at Fit Factor - Mr India 2015 for several fitness competitions.

He made his acting debut in television in the year 2011. He appeared in around 10 series till now. He played the role of a prince in Dwarkadheesh – Bhagwaan Shree Krishna, followed by Kahani Chandrakanta Ki, Chandragupta Maurya, Jai Bajrangbali, Ramayan, Mahabharat, Akbar Birbal etc. He mostly portrays historical or mythological role of prince or king onscreen, and also played the role of Hanuman in 2011 series, Ramayan. This model and body builder from Udaipur left the viewers awestruck in the climax scene of the recent Tamil film, Singam 3. He dubbed for the movie as well.
