Taaha Shah Biography

Taaha Shah is an upcoming Bollywood actor who played male lead opposite Shraddha Kapoor in 2011 movie - Luv KaThe End. It was his debut movie and it received positive response from critics though fared poorly at box office. Gippi in 2013 was his second release and similar to his first release, despite getting excellent response from critics, the movie couldn't make any impact on the Box Office. Tina and Lolo is his upcoming movie, where he shares screen space with Sunny Leone and KarishmaTanna. Barkhaa is his forthcoming project that’s slated to release in 2015.

He was born to south Indian parents in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. Both his parents work abroad. His father is a doctor and mother is a biochemist. His elder brother works as a civil engineer in Toronto. Taaha studied in UAE till 4th grade and later he shifted to Kodaikanal, Tamil Nadu for schooling. His education was once again completed at UAE. He dropped out of his Bachelor of Business Administration course at Sharjah and since 2006 he is into business, associated with different firms. Today he is a successful entrepreneur who owns a steel import firm.

He started modelling at the age of 16. Later he switched over his career from business to entertainment after the recession in 2008. In 2009 he took decision to join films. He reached Mumbai and started practising dancing and martial arts. He played the grey shaded role, Luv Nanda in his debut movie – Luv ka the end. His second movie, Gippi was produced by Karan Johar. Taaha Shah practises martial arts and acrobatics in gyms and is also interested in paragliding and scuba diving.
