Sushanth (telugu Actor) Biography

Sushanth is a popular Telugu Actor, a member of the famous Akkineni filmy family. A grandson of legendary actor Akkineni Nageswara Rao and the nephew of Akkineni Nagarjuna, many of his cousins too are into acting. Noted actors - Sumanth, Naga Chaitanya and Akkineni Akhil are his maternal cousins. Noted actress Amala Akkineni is his maternal aunt. Sushanth joined film scene in 2008 and has remained a seasonal actor, but he owns many hit films to his credit. His recent film, Chi..La..Sou released in August 2018 became a runaway hit and his performance has improved over the years.

His full name is Anumolu Sushanth. He was born in Hyderabad, into a family with strong links to Telugu cinema. In fact Akkineni family owns a great tradition in Telugu cinema. He is the son of Anumolu Satya Bhushana Rao and Naga Susheela Akkineni. His mother is the daughter of Akkineni Nageswara Rao, and hence he owns a straight link with Akkineni family. Sushanth’s early days were spent in his hometown where he completed his education. Later he completed Engineering and worked at United Technologies for a while. Then he quit his job and returned to India to pursue a career in acting.

In 2008 he marked his acting debut with Kalidasu. Sushanth was paired with Tamannaah in the directorial debut of G. Ravicharan Reddy. The film was a success at box office completing 50 days at theatre. His second release was Current, released in 2009. Yet another film directed by a debutant, he was paired with Sneha Ullal. The film was declared as a Super Hit at the Box Office. He also received praise for his dancing and fighting skills. His third film, Adda, was a commercial hit while his fourth film, Dongaata fared average. Aatadukundam Raa and Chi..La..Sou.. are next two releases.
