Suraj Jagan Biography 
Suraj Jagan is a successful playback singer of Bollywood of ‘Give me some sunshine’ fame. He has sung this beautiful song for the movie 3 Idiots. This song received the "Best Emerging Male Performer" award in the Max Stardust Award. He started his singing career during 1990 with his music band – Dream out loud and composed jingles. He made debut as an actor through the movie ‘Rock on!’ He debut Bollywood in 1999 with the movie, Pyaar Mein Kabhi Kabhi as a singer. This movie includes a long crew of new actors as well as a new director, Anubhav Sinha. It was Suraj’s debut as a playback singer too!
A few of his most popular Hindi film tracks include - Give me some sunshine of 3 idiots, Zehereelay of Rock on, Sadka kiya of I hate love stories, Dil dil hai of 7 Khoon maaf, Jaa Chudail of Delhi Belly, Aafaton ke parinde of Ishqzaade, Theme song of Karthik calling Karthik, Rang de of My name is Khan, Dil Dhadkane do of Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara, Tu hi tu of OMG and Hey Johny of Johny Gaddar. He sang almost all leading songs of the movie ‘Straight’ released in the year 2009 which include romantic tracks - Humse Jo Churaiye Humko Hee and Saanson Ka Rukna. However 3 idiots’ song was his big break to Bollywood. He struggled for about 10 years to get a dream song and fresh kick to his singing career, that happened through 3 idiots in 2009.
Suraj started his career doing jingles. His break to Bollywood was fetched to him by fellow rock vocalist Vishal Dadlani and the movie was Pyar mein kabhi kabhi, released in 1999. With middle 2000’s he began to get more roles through movies like Johny Gaddar, Dil Dosti Etc, Money Hai Toh Honey Hai etc. He sang the song, Zuhreelah for the movie Rock on! and was seen performing in the song. He did a short cameo in the film with the role of 'Ajay'. From there on, he got attention and new offers too. According to him, Sadka kiya of I hate love stories – the song that he sung with Mahalaxmi Iyer is his most favourite one.
