Supriya Kumari Biography

Supriya Kumari is a Hindi television actress best known for portraying the female protagonist of Bairi Piya, aired on Colors TV. In 2013, she made her film debut through the much hyped movie of Veena Malik – ‘Zindagi 50-50’, where she played the role of a housewife named Rupa. She essayed the lead character of Billo in Looteri Dulhan on Imagine TV. She has also done a negative role named Neelu for Bhagonwali-Baante Apni Taqdeer on Zee Tv. It was a cameo appearance. She is active in television industry since 2009 and Agle Janam Mohe Bitiya Hi Kijo was her first noted appearance in which she essayed the cameo role of Shanichari.

She belongs to Ranchi of present-day Jharkhand. She reached Mumbai to pursue her dreams in the field of acting and started giving auditions for television serials as well as movies. She didn’t strive too much to get offers in Bollywood. Agle Janam Mohe Bitiya Hi Kijo was her first screen appearance where she got a small role. She auditioned for the lead role in Bairi Piya at the same time and landed on the role as well. Her title role as Amoli went on to become a huge success and she became an established actress on small screen. She also appeared in dance reality show - Nachle Ve with Saroj Khan. She regularly appears as guest on many popular television shows.

Looteri Dulhan on Imagine TV proved to be the next breakthrough for her acting career. Rakt Sambandh, Looteri Dulhan, Babosa - Mere Bhagwan and Bhagonwali-Baante Apni Taqdeer are other noted performances. She made her Bollywood debut with Zindagi 50-50, where she played one among the three leading ladies aside Veena Malik and Riya Sen.
