Sunil Ibrahim Biography 
Sunil Ibrahim is a successful screenwriter, film producer and director associated with Malayalam films, known for thrillers. Started his directorial debut with hit film, Chapters in 2012, most recently he made Y, a small budget suspense thriller opened to positive reviews. Every character in the film leaves an indelible mark and signs off. The movie presented 40 new faces to big screen. In between he directed one more psychological thriller, Arikil Oraal starring Indrajith Sukumaran, Nivin Pauly and Remya Nambeeshan. All his three thriller movies opened to very positive reviews from critics and fared well at box office too. He also produced one movie, Olappeeppi in 2015.
Sunil was born on 12th December 1978. As a film maker he started off with Chapters in 2012, with a bunch of actors. He also scripted the film. In a narrative structure similar to hyperlink cinema, the film consists of four "chapters" and every chapter is related to one another. The movie included an ensemble cast of Sreenivasan, Nivin Pauly, Hemanth Menon, Vijeesh, Gauthami Nair, Dharmajan, Vineeth Kumar, Shine, Aju Varghese and many more artists. The movie opened to positive reviews, and thus Sunil Ibrahim made a promising debut.
His second release was Arikil Oraal starring Indrajith Sukumaran, Nivin Pauly and Remya Nambeeshan. The psychological thriller was the second film of the director with Nivin Pauley, and was released in 2013. He scripted the movie too. After receiving good critical response he cemented his position as a successful filmmaker and writer of thrillers. He scripted and directed his third thriller film, Y in 2017. This small budget film too repeated the success of its predecessors.
