Suhani Bhatnagar Biography

Suhani Bhatnagar is a child actress best known for playing Aamir Khan’s daughter in all-time blockbuster Dangal released in 2016. She played child Babita Kumari in the movie based on real-life incidents, and made audience fall on her with her cute looks and innocent acting. She was 12 years old when she essayed one of the most memorable roles of the movie. The movie marked the film debut of many Bollywood actors including Suhani Bhatnagar. She is also a child model and has appeared in several commercials.

Suhani Bhatnagar is born in a Punjabi family and lives in Faridabad, Haryana. Her mother’s name is Pooja Bhatnagar. She is currently a student of Delhi Public School, Faridabad. Singing and dancing are her hobbies. Suhani has worked as a model and has appeared for TV commercials, print ads, catalog shoots and videos. Her parents have supported her in all her decisions. She appeared as a young model for Monte Carlo much before she bagged the role of Dangal.

In 2016 she got major breakthrough role in Dangal essaying Aamir Khan’s daughter. She made debut with a bunch of debutants such as Fatima Sana Shaikh, Fatima Sana Shaikh and Sanya Malhotra and Sanya Malhotra through this film, which registered highest cash collection at box office. All these actresses played Aamir’s daughters, either child role or adult role.

After she got selected through audition, she did fitness and medical tests as the role demanded to be a wrestler. Both Zaira and Suhani went through a rigorous training after bagging the roles as Geeta and Babita respectively. Suhani took 6 months leave from school to do the training for the film. She was studying in class 6 when she shot for the movie. After the shoot got over, when she appeared for final exams she scored 92.6%. She is brilliant in studies as well.
