Subhra Sourav Das is a Kolkata based actor who works in movies, television and theatre. He is a professional stage actor who worked with Kaushik Sen's theatre group Swapnasandhani. He is almost a permanent fixture of director Anjan Dutt movies in the recent times, and has also worked with Srijit Mukherji in Zulfiqar in 2016. His collaboration with Anjan Dutt includes - Ganesh Talkies, Byomkesh Phire Elo, Hemanta, Byomkesh O Chiriyakhana and The Bongs Again. In fact he was introduced to silver screen by Dutt through the movie, Ganesh Talkies in 2013, where he played a supporting role.

Subhra Sourav Das was born on 1 June 1988 in Kolkata. He wanted to be a professional footballer. But an accident changed his fate, and he landed into the world of entertainment. He was instructed by the doctor never to play football again, and he had to take rest. While he was bed rest at home, he started watching movies, read books and got attracted to the field of acting and cinema. He later met Kaushik Sen, and joined his theatre group Swapnasandhani, through which he gained experience as an actor. He appeared in his professional plays – Macbeth and Antigone.

Started his acting career with theatre, he later moved to movies, followed by television. He marked his film debut in 2013, and television debut in 2015. His first break to films was given by Anjan Dutt, with whom he frequently worked later. Since 2013, he worked in 5 films of Dutt. In 2015, he marked his television debut with the show, Tomay Amay Mile followed by Kiranmala, Bhakter Bhogobaan Shri Krishna and Aamar Durga.
