Srikanth Biography 
Srikanth is a famous Indian film actor born on 28th February 1978. His parents are Krishnamachari and Jayanthi. His brother is Sudhir, working as a software engineer in USA. Vandana is his wife. He married her in November 2007. He has a son named Aahil and a daughter named Ahana. He was called as Sriram in Telugu film industry. His nick name is Sree.
He finished his school studies at SBOA Matriculation and Higher Secondary School, Chennai. Actor Arya was his classmate. He finished his bachelor’s degree at Hindustan College of Arts & Science, Chennai. During his college studies, he participated in fashion shows conducted by Madras Medical College in 1997. This helped him to get into modeling and later into films. He appeared as a model in Shriram Chits Corporate Advertisement. This led him to enter into film industry.
He was introduced to film industry by Oscar Ravichandran. His first film was Roja Kootam with Bhumika Chawla. Sasi was the director of this film. This film won a big commercial and box office hit. In Telugu, his first film was Okkarikku Okkaru. His second movie was April Mathathil in which he paired with Sneka and this film was directed by S. S. Stanley.
He acted in many films like Roja Kootam, April Madhathil, Manasellam, Parthiban Kanavu, Joot, Bose, Varnajalam, Kana Kandaen, Oru Naal Oru Kanavu, Bambara Kannaley, Mercury Pookal, Uyir, Kizhakku Kadalkarai Salai, Rasaikkum Seemane etc. He received ITFA Best New Actor Award for his debut film Roja Kootam. Parthiban Kanvu became the box office hit and he won the Tamil Nadu State Film Special Award for Best Actor for this film. This film was directed by Karu Pazhaniappan.
