Souvik Chakrabarti Biography 
Souvik Chakrabarti is an Indian professional footballer who plays for Indian Super League and other professional football leagues in India. He plays as a midfielder for Mumbai City FC in ISL. He also plays as a defender for his team. He has been a regular player of Mohun Bagan for many years, during 2009–2012 and 2014–2017, and played three seasons in a row for Delhi Dynamics since 2014. In the previous season he played for Jamshedpur and currently he is associated with Mumbai City FC.
Souvik Chakrabarti was born on 12 July 1991 in Kolkata, West Bengal. He started playing football at the age of eight at the Yubajagaran football coaching centre. He became a member of Mohun Bagan professional football team at the age of 15, and has contributed to the club for many seasons later. As a member of the team he got opportunity to play Manchester United Premier Cup in Manchester, England, which remains of his memorable performances throughout his professional career. He also played 2009–2010 Indian Federation Cup and the Calcutta Football League as a member of Mohun Bagan. He made his professional debut for the club against Dempo S.C. at the Fatorda Stadium on 2 November 2011, when he appeared as a substitute. However Mohun Bagan lost the match.
During 2012–2013 season he played for Air India and 2013–2014 for United. He returned to Mohun Bagan in 2014 and played for the club next three years. Before the contract ended, he was signed on loan by Delhi Dynamos for three seasons since 2014. His biggest wish will be to represent the country and contribute to its success.
