Sivannarayana Naripeddi Biography

Sivannarayana Naripeddi is an actor associated with Telugu entertainment industry. He predominantly works in Telugu movies, apart from TV shows. Yet he gained success and fame through TV shows. Amrutham, Ammamma.com, Nanna and Manga Taayaru are some of his television roles. His role as Appaji from Amrutham TV show made him a household name of Telugu TV viewers. He excelled as a comedian for the TV show, Ammamma.com. His role earned him Nandi award for best comedian for a TV show in the year 2007. He started his film career in 2004 with the film – Grahanam and has completed more than one decade in the industry.

 

He completed Master’s degree in Theatre at Hyderabad Central University before joining the entertainment world. He made his acting debut with National award winning film - Grahanam in 2004. The film also marked the directorial debut of its director Indraganti Mohan Krishna who won National award and Nandi awards for best first film in the regional language. Since then he has worked with many leading directors of Telugu cinema such as Chandra Sekhar Yeleti and S. S. Rajamouli. His association with S.S. Rajamouli began with the sports drama film Sye in 2004.

 

Later he played character roles in the films – Attharintiki Daaredhi, Ashta Chamma, Manikanda, Golconda High School, Double Trouble, Naaku Oka Lover Undhi, Pataas, Yuvatha, Julai, Darling, Namo Venkatesa, Anukokunda Oka Roju, Churaka, Beruva, Chandamama Lo Amrutham, Eega etc. He also played a few memorable roles on Telugu small screen. He is also known by the screen name, Sivannarayana. Till now he has acted in more than 20 films of which his roles in Grahanam, Sye, Yuvatha, Ashta Cheema and Okkadunnadu need special reference.
