Shivam Pradhan Biography

Shivam Pradhan was an actor associated with Bollywood known for playing supporting roles. He was an alumnus of Ramjas College, and was also a well-known stage actor. As a Bollywood actor, he was first seen in 2008 short film - Good Night, and made noted brief appearance in Bollywood hits such as Do Dooni Chaar, Tere Bin Laden: Dead or Alive, Kerry on Kutton and Phillauri. He was also seen in 2017 web series, Baked directed by Vishwajoy Mukherjee. This very talented theatre artist died on 29 October 2016 aged just 31. He has been suffering from breath problems for the last 7 years and Phillauri – his last film was released posthumously. Apart from movies, he worked in web series and TV shows, and was also a successful dubbing artist.

Shivam Pradhan started his acting career during his school days as a stage actor, and has been active in street plays since young. He acted in his first play, the very famous Ashadh Ka Ek Din while doing his higher secondary studies. Shivam was selected for the school’s annual theatre production that year. Later he completed his studies at Ramjas College. He handled different kinds of roles throughout his career. He was a part of award winning short film, Good Night, and acted in commercial features like Tere bin Laden :Dead or Alive, Phillauri, Do Dooni Chaar etc. Just before his death he played antagonist in the film, Kerry on Kutton and his performance received a lot of praises.

He worked as a dubbing artist for animation series on Hungama and Disney, even experienced working at Art installation projects with Zuleikha Chaudhari and lately been introduced to the world of clowning by the likes of Michael Moritz and Ashwath Bhatt. He established himself as a theatre personality. TATA Sky Dillagi Campaign’s chotu is his lovely face in ad world.
