Shaheed Woods Biography

Shaheed Woods is an American actor and comedian, who works in Indian movies as well. He mostly does supporting and character roles. He regularly works in American movies produced and directed by artists of Indian origin, and those works have earned him accolades. He was most recently seen in Bollywood action film – A gentleman, where he plays the role of a henchman. His role was well appreciated. Midnight Delight and Life! Camera Action are his next best works, both directed by Rohit Gupta, who resides in US. Both the movies were released in English and Hindi version. Woods is a poet too.

His full name is Shaheed Kamal Jihad Woods. He was born and brought up in Jersey City, New Jersey, United States. He studied at Fred W. Martin Elementary school. He started his career in 2010 with the feature film, Non Compos Mentis where he essayed the role of Big Sha, followed by Pariah, He Said, She Said, Pyscho-Path: Mania etc. He rose to prominence with his first major role through Life! Camera Action... released in 2012, which bagged him a best supporting actor award. He portrayed the memorable role of Mike which earned him accolades and appreciation.

Apart from being regular in American movies, he has also done several short films such as One City Night, Cherry Pop etc. He also features in documentary films. Washington Irving: An American Original and George Washington: The Farewell Address are his upcoming documentary projects, where he plays the role of a narrator as well. The Killer Contract and The Gentleman are his recent films released in 2017. He played the role of a henchman with a comic touch in the Bollywood film, The Gentleman. His obesity has attributed to most of his comic roles.
