Sarvesh Murari Biography

Sarvesh Murari is a cinematographer for Telugu movies. He is also associated with Tamil films. Marked his cine debut in the year 2005, he has been associated with over a dozen of films belonging to Tamil and Telugu languages. As a cinematographer, his works include - Anukokunda Oka Roju (2005), Shock (2006), Vikramarkudu (2006), Nava Vasantham (2007), Ontari (2008), Prayanam (2009), Kurradu (2009), Kedi (2010), Kalyanram Kathi (2010), Ragada (2010), Nippu (2012), Action 3D (2013), Doosukeltha (2013), Pataas (2015), Sher (2015), Motta Shiva Ketta Shiva (2017) and Shivalinga (2017). In 2016 he announced his first film project wearing director’s cap.

Sarvesh Murari hails from Andhra Pradesh, and was born into a Telugu speaking family. He started his career as camera assistant in the early 2000s. Some of his early works as a camera assistant include Family Circus (2001), Nuvvu Nenu (2001) and Aithe (2003). As an independent cinematographer he bagged his first film project in the year 2005. The movie was Anukokunda Oka Roju directed by Chandra Sekhar Yeleti which gave him a breakthrough. S. S. Rajamouli's Vikramarkudu released in 2006 was the real breakthrough he was waiting for, and there was no turning back after that.

He worked as a second unit cameraman for Arundhathi (2009). Later he accepted Tamil projects as well and succeeded in this industry too. Most recently in 2017 he worked with Raghava Lawrence for two Tamil movies back to back. Motta Shiva Ketta Shiva (2017) and Shivalinga (2017) were those releases. Motta Shiva Ketta Shiva was the remake of Telugu super hit film, Pattas. In 2016 he announced his debut as film director. His project is yet to be finalized.
